Millbrook House is a purpose-built nursing home based in Southport providing up to 60 people with EMI dementia nursing care.
The nursing home has 50 single bedrooms, 42 of which have their own en-suite facilities. All rooms are beautifully decorated and we encourage our residents to personalise their rooms with their own treasured belongings. Each bedroom wing has its own specially adapted bathroom and a total of four different types of bathrooms are available within the home, which enables us to cater to all levels of disability.
At Millbrook House, we have a sheltered, secure garden courtyard, with benches and additional seating areas maintained by our gardeners for all residents to enjoy, particularly in the summer months!
We are very fortunate to have a specially designed relaxation room at Millbrook House, Snoozelam, which incorporates a bubble tube, fibre optic wall carpet, ceiling twirler and projector. This facility is used by all residents on a one-on-one basis as well as in small groups for relaxation and has been proven to reduce levels of agitation and wandering.
