Milverton Nursing Home

Milverton Nursing Home in Surbiton, Surrey provides a service for the elderly with physical and psychological needs in an atmosphere of comfort and optimism. We have an established team of nurses and qualified carers who provide excellent nursing care as prescribed by each resident's specialist and family doctor. Residents come to us from hospitals or their own homes.

Milverton is spacious, bright and airy. We have all the necessary up-to-date equipment essential in the care of the elderly with bright, modern bedrooms most of which are en-suite. The garden is landscaped with a gazebo, fish pond raised beds for planting and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Our visiting hours are 10.30 am - 12.00 midday and 1.30 - 8.30 pm. There will be flexibility in special circumstances.

A dedicated team of nurses and NVQ qualified carers provide balanced physical and psychological care and social support.

The physical care is aimed at attending to residents personal needs with dignity and careful attention. We have access to the services of dentists, opticians, chiropodists, physical therapists and hairdressing. Our activities co-ordinator provides a range of stimulating activities that vary according to the requests and needs of the residents. The regular features include trips to the local church, places of interest, the pub and pottering around in the specially equipped garden, thereby preserving and maintaining skills, keeping a degree of independence, giving residents a sense of independence and dignity.
