St. Stephens Nursing Home in Dover, Kent provides respite, residential and specialist high-level learning or physical disability care for residents with a range of healthcare requirements. Our excellent care team liaises closely with healthcare professionals and is on hand twenty-four hours a day to provide the highest level of care within a caring and family-orientated environment.

St. Stephens Nursing Home is located in a residential area of Dover with transport services and local shops nearby. We welcome frequent visits from families wishing to see their loved ones and there is a visitors' parking area on-site so family and friends can drop by whenever they wish. The home has many bright, spacious areas for residents to relax or socialise with friends and relatives including a large fully accessible garden with raised flower beds and a pagoda so that all our residents can enjoy the changing seasons.

The home has generous-sized private rooms, some with spectacular views of Dorset Castle and we encourage personalisation so residents make their rooms a place they feel fully settled and comfortable. The rooms are tastefully decorated and requests for personal items of furniture can be accommodated provided they meet health and safety regulations. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome by prior agreement with the manager.

We offer a range of activities in the home tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new, including opportunities to sing with visiting entertainers, cooking experiences, and trips to local areas. The social programme includes group and one to one activities for both morning and afternoon.

St. Stephens Nursing Home specialises in freshly cooked, seasonal, tasty food with plenty of choices. Our Home Chefs prepares all meals for residents on-site and regularly update the menus to tempt even the smallest of appetites. The highest level of care embracing independence, choice, privacy, dignity and respect is the whole team’s absolute goal.
