Agincourt Care Home in Weymouth, Dorset offers residential, respite and palliative care for people aged 50+ with dementia or serious mental health care needs. Specialist 24-hour care is provided by our team of dedicated Care Assistants, who liaise closely with healthcare professionals, to provide the highest level of support.

Agincourt Care Home is situated just a few minutes from the beach within easy reach of Weymouth town centre’s local amenities, shops, restaurants, and transport services. Our welcome and comfortable home has a lovely garden with a wide variety of plants, a small pond, and outside seating where residents can get involved in gardening, planting or simply enjoy the changing seasons

All residents have private rooms and we encourage personalisation to make them their own space that they feel comfortable in. Small pieces of furniture, subject to passing health and safety regulations can be accommodated. We have one shared room available to support couples. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome providing they meet certain requirements and by arrangement with the manager.

Activities inside the home and within the community are tailored to the interests of our residents These activities can range from BBQs in the garden, outings to Portland Harbour, or attending events on Weymouth Esplanade.

Our Home Chefs specialise in freshly cooked, tasty food with plenty of choices and we often incorporate family recipes or particular favourites into our menus. We also encourage families to join their loved ones for meals and have no restriction on visiting times.

Agincourt Care Home weekly fee starts at £600 per week but will depend upon the complexity of the individual's care requirements. We may be able to accept residents who are funded by their local authority but this will need to be discussed with our Home Manager. As well as long-term care, we can also support people who are looking for short-term care and dementia care.
