Crecy Care Home

Crecy Care Home in Weymouth, Dorset is a specialist mental health care home providing residential and respite care for older people with all types of dementia, and younger adults with significant mental health care needs. Our dedicated team of care assistants liaise closely with healthcare professionals and cover all aspects of care as required.

Our home is located about a mile from the beach and within easy reach of Weymouth’s local amenities, shops, restaurants, and transport services. The home has many spacious areas for residents to relax or socialise with friends and relatives including a charming garden where residents can enjoy watching the local wildlife and visiting hedgehogs.

All residents have private personalisable rooms, with their own phone points and we encourage residents to make their room a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in. Small pieces of furniture, subject to passing health and safety regulations can be accommodated. Many rooms have garden or countryside views and some of the ground floor rooms have direct access to the garden.

We have a self-contained annexe to our main building with access to separate cooking and dining facilities for residents seeking more independent living arrangements. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome providing they meet certain requirements and by arrangement with the manager.

Activities inside the home and within the community are tailored to the interests of our residents as well as trying to offer them something new. We offer a varied range of group and one to one activities including music, art, and gardening.
