Astbury Lodge

Astbury Lodge caters to 41 residents and has a specialist dementia household called the ‘Poppies.’ All rooms are spacious and comfortable with television points. Here at Astbury Lodge, we ensure the highest quality of care is provided, and our resident's personal needs are met to ensure they are comfortable and happy living here.

We have many spaces for our residents to enjoy and socialise in; we have several lounges where residents can watch television, while there are also quieter areas to enjoy a book or relax in. We like to give our residents a choice if they want to eat in their rooms, but we like to encourage them to eat in the dining rooms.

The Princes Trust has renovated the garden for their wonderful local community project. The garden is home to lots of birds which the bird feeders attract for our residents to sit down and enjoy as well as quieter areas for our residents to relax in. We also have a front patio and a unique feature, an outside bar with a brick barbecue and benches to enjoy those summer evenings. We have raised flower beds and allotment plots for those who enjoy a spot of gardening and growing fruit and vegetables. We also have a new sensory garden area with an 8 beth tent.

At Astbury, we have a number of services available such as a mobile hairdresser who visits on a weekly basis to pamper our residents, newspapers, and magazines are delivered to the home with arrangements from a local newsagent this service is an additional charge. There is also a shop/trolley service that has items such as greetings cards, confectionery, and toiletries.
