Whetstone Hey Care Home

Whetstone Hey is a purpose-built home located in Great Sutton, just 2 miles from Ellesmere Port town centre. Our home is set within lovely grounds and is a safe and friendly home from home for our residents.

We have great facilities for our residents at Whetstone Hey to enjoy including spacious lounges, dining rooms and a quiet room. One of our lounges is fitted with a hearing loop, a discreet device to improve sound reception and aid those with hearing difficulties.

Outside, we have lovely gardens at the front of the home and an enclosed patio to the side with seating. We even have a greenhouse which is much appreciated by our green-fingered residents! All of our garden areas are wheelchair accessible, meaning that they can be enjoyed by all.

We always look forward to mealtimes at Whetstone Hey. Residents are encouraged to eat together in our shared dining areas but we respect their wishes if they would like to eat in their rooms. Friends & family of our residents are always welcome to join us for meals with prior arrangements.

Our menus feature home-cooked, nutritionally balanced meals prepared in our own kitchen and made from quality ingredients to ensure that cultural and personal preferences are considered when establishing a balanced diet. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are available at all times.
