Ernstell House

Ernstell House was opened in 2021 by Alzheimer's Society Ambassador and Broadcast Presenter, Angela Rippon OBE. The home is conveniently located a 10-minute drive from Tamar Bridge crossing and the main A38 route into the city. We can support residential, nursing, dementia, and mental health care needs.

All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings. Should a new resident wish to bring their own items of furniture then providing they pass health and safety regulations we will do our best to accommodate this.

Our Ernstell House follows a looped, circular layout, helping our residents to find their bearings and roam freely in a safe & secure environment. The building loops around a picturesque courtyard with a modern water feature.

On the ground floor, we have a nautical themed Tamar Bistro with patio doors opening out to landscaped gardens. We have a formal dining area named Estuary View Dining Room on the first floor leading to a lovely terrace with wonderful views. The final dining room is smaller and tends to be used for private family gatherings for special occasions.
