Florence Grogan House

Florence Grogan House is a purpose-built home offering residential care and dementia care in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We have a specialist household for those living with dementia, with a care team who are fully trained to meet their unique needs. Our home has a long history and we are very much a part of our local community.

Animal lovers will be delighted to hear that we have lots of budgies, 2 gorgeous cats and dozens of squirrels for entertainment at Florence Grogan House. We also have 'The Pat The Dog Scheme' visit every month, providing great therapeutic value to residents.

We have a number of dining areas and comfortable lounges, one of which is fitted with a hearing loop, a device to improve the sound reception and help those with hearing difficulties. Outdoors, we have beautiful vibrant gardens with patio areas where barbeques with friends and family are enjoyed in the warmer seasons.

At Florence Grogan House, each resident has a single bedroom with high-quality furnishings and some have en-suite facilities. Residents are encouraged to have a say in how their rooms are decorated and are welcome to bring their own furniture pieces if they wish providing they pass health and safety checks.
