Wealstone Care Home

Wealstone Care Home can be found in the Upton area of Chester. The single-story home is spread around a lovely courtyard area. Within the home, there is an 11-bed household delivering advanced support for older people who are living with dementia. Our caring team work exceptionally hard to make sure that our residents enjoy a high standard of living at Wealstone.

At Wealstone, we have 3 communal lounges, one of which is fitted with a hearing loop which is a discreet device designed to improve sound reception and aid those with hearing difficulties. We also have an activities room, a computer room and several dining areas. Our wheelchair accessible gardens consist of a large courtyard fit with two raised flowerbeds, a sensory herb garden and a large pergola.

We have a selection of bedrooms with various views for our residents to choose from. Some of the bedrooms have their own en-suite but we do also have communal bathrooms with assisted baths, a shower room and several toilets nearby each bedroom. The majority of the bedrooms have a private door providing access to the secure garden/patio area or the courtyard.

There are regular events and activities at Wealstone, including entertainment like vocalists, musicians, and speakers on various topics. There is also a mobile library that visits once a month, as well as monthly clothes shows and bingo games. We also go to local shows and festivals, and enjoy trips out in the warmer months on a canal boat, to Chester Zoo, or just for a leisurely walk. We also celebrate special occasions throughout the year, like Easter and Bonfire Night.
