Greenhill House

Greenhill House in Cheddar supports elderly residents with a range of healthcare needs. Located close to the rolling Mendip Hills, we have a picturesque rural backdrop while the town of Cheddar offers shops, cafés and all local amenities.

Greenhill House has been redeveloped into a spacious and modern, purpose-built home, with a dedicated dementia care suite. Residents are at the heart of our home and are supported by trained care professionals 24-hours a day.

Greenhill House is furnished to a high standard throughout, with comfortable communal lounges, a hair salon and quiet seating areas available for our residents and their guests to use as they wish.

Our team of Activities Co-ordinators at Greenhill House are on hand to make sure that residents can continue to enjoy their favourite hobbies, learn new things and regularly get out and about in the local community. We love animals, including creepy crawlies, and have enjoyed visits from Zoolab with their animal-handling workshops. We’ve also hosted visits from donkeys and alpacas.

Greenhill House is home to our residents, and we encourage residents to make full use of shared areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.

All the residents at Greenhill House have their own unique, personalised care plan. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident’s wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.
