Millfield House

Millfield House was our first home. It is situated in a tree-lined street, centrally-located and close to the re-designed shopping centre in Folkestone. The eight bedroom accommodation is spread over three floors with a wheelchair accessible lift to both upper floors. The wood panelled entrance hall with an ornate stained glass window leads into a spacious lounge/dining area which residents, visitors and staff use regularly for meals and social occasions.

Our own maintenance team is on hand to avoid any major emergency or breakdown inconveniences at Millfield. We undergo regular checks and carry out routine maintenance to all equipment and materials in accordance with the Health and Safety Executive.

Millfield is within three minutes safe walk of the town, with a range of shops and cafes. Radnor Park is nearby, well-known locally for its regular entertainment of boot-fairs, donkey derby, circus and funfair. Millfield residents are able to access this large recreational space easily by wheelchair. The footpaths lead to pleasant sitting areas, duck ponds, and a freshwater fishing lake. Folkestone's Sports Centre, with swimming pool, gym, ski slope and cafeteria, is also close by.

The staff at Millfield regularly arrange in-house entertainment to celebrate birthdays and other special events. The Halloween Party at the end of October is a scream. Enter at your own risk!
