Once a Georgian country home for the Broughton-Adley family, Tunstall Hall sits on the outskirts of the Shropshire town of Market Drayton.
Built in three and a half acres of grounds surrounded by mature parkland, Tunstall Hall is a care home for older people. The striking galleried entrance hall and lounge at the heart of the home is a favourite area for residents to sit and chat and the large lounge, once a ballroom, has a beautiful ornate ceiling and uninterrupted views across the garden and farmland.
Our home has 29 single bedrooms, three of which with en-suite bathroom facilities, and 2 bungalows, the first with 1 bedroom and the other with 2. We have the latest equipment and facilities to ensure the health and safety of our residents who have restricted mobility.
We have a dedicated activities co-ordinator who organises both group and individual activity programmes including board games, indoor gardening, flower arranging, painting and sing-a-longs. We also enjoy day trips and visits with Cadbury World in Birmingham proving a particular favourite.
