First of all, we will take time to listen to you, and understand your ideal care and personality needs, before matching you with a high-quality carer (or carers) that all meet our rigorous quality standards before they may join the seakr carer community. They join us because they also love the freedom of being able to choose the vulnerable individuals that they serve, the duration of their work and the nature of the care they deliver (including, but not limited to personal care, home care, companionship, cancer, cardiac, spinal, respiratory, Alzheimer's, Dementia and not forgetting days out accompanying their clients when appropriate).

We will tell you all about their experience, qualifications, background and personality and will also always encourage you (or your loved ones) to meet them, either by phone or in person, before making a final decision. Almost five years of experience with Live-In care has taught us that offering both parties the freedom to choose one another leads to a high-quality client–carer relationship. Having agreed on a match, we help you both to settle in and are always here to answer any questions you may have going forward, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week including finding cover for your usual carer should the need arise.

We refuse to compromise on carer quality and during 2019, we rejected 82% of all carers applying to join us. Our high-quality standards bring confidence to everyone concerned. We require all independent carers to complete an application form, pass an in-depth interview which includes a personality questionnaire and provide documentary evidence of Enhanced DBS checks within the previous 12 months, evidence of having passed a high-quality training course from a quality training provider endorsed by the UK Government’s Skills for Care Programme and valid indemnity insurance cover.

The costs of seakr carer Live-in Care start at £782 per week but will vary from client to client depending on the level of their care requirements. We recommend that you give our team a call if you have been granted Local Authority funding so that we can discuss whether we will be able to support you. As well as full-time care, we can also support individuals with short-term respite care. We are an introductory agency meaning that we are not regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
