The Good Care Group

The Good Care Group is a fully managed and regulated provider of high-quality home care across England and Scotland that enables people to continue living in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, and avoid moving into a residential care home.

The home care services include 24-hour live-in-care, and a respite service across England and Scotland, and an hourly visiting service in London.

The Good Care Group are specialists in caring for people with dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis and providing end-of-life care. They have a team of in-house experts led by a consultant Admiral nurse and occupational therapist, who oversee and support care delivery for more complex care needs.

In England, The Good Care Group is rated 'Outstanding' in all five inspected categories by Care Quality Commission (CQC) (November 2022).

In Scotland, The Good Care Group Scotland is rated 'Excellent' for quality of care and support and 'Very Good' for quality of staffing and management (July 2019).

The Good Care Group employ professional carers, typically hiring only two percent of applicants, following a rigorous recruitment process - including a situational judgement test.

Carers are trained to the highest standard, with modules such as dementia and end-of-life care included in the induction programme, and are supported by an experienced team of care managers and a central support office.
