Hendra Court is registered to care for 50 residents. We have a dual registration and can provide both Nursing and Residential care. The majority of our residents have a diagnosis of dementia or other cognitive deficit.
We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas at Hendra Court including lounges, the dining room and outdoor areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.
Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Hendra Court is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!
Here at Hendra Court we offer a wide and varied daily activities programme which changes to make the most of the Great British seasons! Daily activities are planned for both morning and afternoon which take into account the interests of our residents. We also welcome community groups and schoolchildren into our home so residents can stay connected with their local community.
