Oak Manor Nursing Home

Oak Manor provides specialist residential and nursing care for up to 61 elderly people living with a form of dementia. Located in the peaceful village of Scarning, near Dereham in Norfolk, Oak Manor comprises both a sensitively converted original building and a purpose-built extension, with a range of dedicated facilities and activities for people living with dementia.

Oak Manor is ideally equipped to provide residential support for elderly people living with different types of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia and Korsacoff’s syndrome. However, staff never lose sight of the fact that, first and foremost, Oak Manor is home to our residents.

We encourage residents to make full use of shared areas at Oak Manor including lounges, the dining room and outdoor areas. Residents are also encouraged to personalise their bedrooms to their heart's content. It is important that their bedrooms are a space that they feel fully settled and comfortable in.

Good nutrition and hydration are an important part of staying well as we age. Oak Manor is able to support people with a range of dietary requirements, including specialist diets. Our Home Chefs do their best to tempt even the smallest of appetites and sweet treats are always provided to celebrate special occasions!
