Torkington House is a highly-rated not-for-profit care home in Acton, Ealing. It delivers 24/7 award-winning residential and dementia care in a homely setting.

Part of leading charitable provider Greensleeves Care and set in an elegant Edwardian home, Torkington House has been extended and modernised to provide care and accommodation for up to 32 residents. Situated in a peaceful tree-lined road in Acton, West London, Torkington House offers a safe and comfortable ‘home from home’ with easy access to public transport and local amenities.

The home offers 32 spacious bedrooms, the majority of which are en-suite, and each tastefully furnished and decorated. Residents are encouraged to bring in personal items such as pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture.

A regular programme of activities is organised with fun and engaging pursuits provided daily. In addition to organised activities, the residents take part in spontaneous activities of their choice and trips out. Our chefs recognise that residents have differing tastes and pleasures, and cater for each and every one as an individual. All food is freshly prepared and well presented to ensure dining is a real occasion, residents regularly update the menu with requests and ideas.

Led by long-standing management, the home’s dedicated multi-disciplined team provide 24/7 high-quality care to meet individual resident’s requirements. As part of the home’s commitment to best practice, Torkington House staff receive ongoing training in every aspect of the care of older people.
